Super Skrull, also known as Kl'rt, is a fictional supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics. He's a Skrull warrior, genetically enhanced to possess the combined powers of the Fantastic Four: Mister Fantastic's elasticity, Invisible Woman's invisibility and force fields, Human Torch's flame manipulation, and Thing's super strength and durability.
Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Super Skrull debuted in Fantastic Four #18 (1963). He was dispatched to Earth by the Skrull Emperor Dorrek VII to infiltrate and conquer the planet, using his formidable abilities to challenge the Fantastic Four. His inherent Skrull shape-shifting abilities further augment his power set, allowing him to mimic other beings and objects.
Throughout his history, Super Skrull has remained a persistent threat, battling numerous Marvel heroes beyond the Fantastic Four, including Captain Marvel and the Avengers. Despite his villainous nature and allegiance to the Skrull Empire, Super Skrull has occasionally displayed a sense of honor and even begrudging respect for his adversaries. He remains a key antagonist in the Marvel Universe, representing the ever-present Skrull threat.
